All the rage of Hannah Montana

My daughter and I just returned from seeing the Hannah Montana concert at Showcase Cinemas in Maumee. Yes I did say at the cinema. See if you haven't heard it was next to impossible to get tickets to her concert when she was in Detroit last month, so the decision makers said "hey we could make even more $$ if we put this in the theatre for a week". This is what they did. I got up early on Monday morning purchased our tickets online ($15/each with a $2 service fee). The Franklin Park theatre was completely sold out, unless I wanted to take my 5th grader out of school next Tuesday---I don't think so. So I opted for the Maumee theatre. She was very excited, as was I. We enjoy spending "girl time" together. The concert/movie was in 3D--this I didn't know, or if I read it it didn't register LOL. Therefore, you had to have the 80's style Tom Cruise "Ray Ban's" on the entire show. Brought back a few memories. It was especially funny to see the little kids with these HUGE glasses on!

Lola and I enjoyed ourselves and as we were leaving the theatre I was digging in my purse to grab my keys. Oh, here they are...nope that's my Speedway card, nope that's Lola's ID card for youth group. I said to my daughter "This isn't good, I can't find my keys." I walked out to my vehicle and sure enough there they are, right where I left them....my front seat! Grrrr All I can say is .....thank God for AAA!!!!! I'm in Maumee, we live in Bedford...hubby wouldn't be too happy with me if he had to come out to Maumee to help me out. Lucy, told me at AAA the wait would be 30-40 minutes, possibly longer. What do you do when you've already seen the movie, so we went into the arcade Lola spotted DDR (Dance, Dance, Revolution) right away. Got her tokens and she was ready.......miss, good, miss, great and in between the music as the song goes on I hear booing, don't they know this is her FIRST TIME? Eee gads, give the little lady a break. She told me she sucked at it and then we were waiting and waiting, until finallyl I see a tow truck pull up. Our wait was more like 45 minutes and it only took him a few minutes to open my door.

Then off to Levis for some shopping at Justice!

Have you ever had an afternoon planned and things didn't go exactly how you'd like it to?
